A Cold Friday Night in Fremont

Last night, Joseph Keppler, onetime proprietor of the artzine Poets. Painters. Composers. out of Seattle, sent an email out to a number of friends, announcing a new venture of his. The announcement arrived as a wide thin PDF, something impossible to imagine back in PPC’s heyday in the 1980s.

My purpose in sending this message is to follow up Poets.Painters.Composers., an arts publication and practice which produced several issues of a journal, artworks, and events before closing its eyes in the early 1990’s.

The attached pdf, measuring 6.5 by 40 inches if printed full scale, initiates: poets.painters.composers.critics.sculptors.slaves., which will try to carry on the small, singular, local and international aesthetics of Poets.Painters.Composers.

Right now any distribution will simply be via an email list.

If you know of others who might be interested, please send me their email addresses.

If you don’t want to receive any further messages/work, please let me know. Thank you.

With all good wishes,

Keppler

I don’t hear much from Joe any longer, so it’s good to hear from him, and good to pass on his words on a cold Saturday night in Schenectady.
